I love combining purple and gold for Christmas projects, such a rich and sumptious mix. Here I have created a card with matching gift wrap and tag.
I kept the card very simple, layering up different elements to build up depth. I used one of the lovely foil snowflakes from Stampin’ Up! to add some elegance, and gold embossing on that wonderful sentiment to finish.
For the tag I used the snowflake in a different way – I used it as a stencil and inked the card with Versamark ink to add a watermark like image onto the tag. To finish I added in some gold washi and gold sequin trim.
The gift wrap uses the same technique with the snowflake stencil, but this time I used Perfect Plum ink to create the images. I added some sequins into the centres of the circles to tie the set together.
I love how this came together – it was very quick and easy and only used a few elements but it looks really effective.
