Dashing in to post a card before I miss the deadline!
I would like to enter this card into two challenges. There is an ‘inspired by words’ challenge over at Time Out Challenges this week and the phrase is “Love is the flower you’ve got to let grow”, and the Muse Challenge inspiration card is this cracker by Michele Ferguson:
The graphic nature of Michele’s card made me want to feature a word with a bold font, and I knew I wanted to use the letters as a showcase for something, as she has done with the heart in the O of the last Joy.
When I saw the phrase at Time Out I knew exactly what I wanted to do as I had recently been given the gorgeous New Family stamp set from Mama Elephant which has the sentiment “Congrats to your happy growing family”. The little fox family was so cute and I had one each for each of the letters to spell out LOVE.
I stamped the foxes in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with Spectrum Noir pens then fussy cut. I cut the LOVE letters with my Silhouette five times and stamped one set with a chevron pattern with a stamp from Uniko Studio’s Background Builders: Chevrons in Memento Flannel Grey ink. I layered the letters together to give them some depth then arranged my little fox family amongst the letters.
I love these little foxes so much, I was so happy to be able to use them!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. Leave me a message and let me know what you think! Cx

Christine I LOve your darling little fox entwined in the LOVE! Such a darling card … if there is a song here, could it be “What does the fox say?” Thanks for singing along with us at Muse this week!
