The cue card this week at CASology is ‘Grass’. At first I had no idea what I could do, then I realised there was so many options – as displayed by the fabulous design team. I wanted to do something a little different though so I set about a bit of brainstorming with my lovely husband. In all honesty, this card was his idea, he came up with the phrase ‘Pastures new’ and all of a sudden I came up with a whole new direction to go in. Ok, so this isn’t quite the card he came up with… I will save that for another occasion… but I hope he likes it. I printed the sentiment direct onto the card base then stamped the fabulous JOFY image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The image I coloured with Spectrum Noir pens. Please leave a comment and let me (and my husband) know what you think! Cx
What a fun take on the CASology theme! Love the JOFY image too and your trademark CAS style. Congrats to hubby for his creative input 🙂
What a fantastic idea and an uber fun card (thanks to your husband and you, obviously a great team)!
Such an inspired idea, Christine … and so beautifully executed! Love the simple outline image with just a few pops of colour … very cool! Anita 🙂
Well done Christine and husband!! Great take on the challenge -Grass….it’s a tricky one, but you have tackled it so well 🙂 xx
Love your little house! It would fit nicely in my ‘neighborhood’ – I am feeling a bit silly, though – may I ask, what is JOFY? Am I the only one out of the loop? =]
JOFY is a brand, the stamps are designed by Jo Firth Young in conjunction with Paperartsy. I will try to link to a stockist later, when I am at my computer. Her stamps are divine! Cx
You can tell your husband that it was a great idea, and I think that you executed on it brilliantly. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week.
Christine this is such a clever take on the challenge….you and hubby are a good team!!
I’m thinking your husband is a keeper! He’s so creative and oh so helpful! So glad you joined us at CASology this week!
Gotta love those husbands that come up with creative thoughts. Wonderful card!
How lucky you are to have a creative TEAM at your house, Christine!! You are a great duo! I love the idea of greener pastures and you did an excellent interpretation with your awesome house with its cool red door and red roof!! Hugs, Darnell
