Uniko Studio Challenge #8

Yay!  A computer malfunction (blue screen of death) has meant I have had to write the last few posts on an Ipad.  This was incredibly hard to do and I am sure it is not just the fact that I am a technophobe that caused this… the process was totally unintuitive.  I have finally treated myself to a new laptop because the frustration was getting too much and I love it!  Hopefully this should make posting much quicker and easier for me and I won’t have to keep pestering the husband for help!

Uniko Challenge 8

I created this card to enter the challenge over at Uniko which is themed spring and uses this lovely soft colour palette.

I stamped the Pure Florals: Gerbera image and the Background Builders: Chevrons image in Versamark and white embossed. I used a mask and then Distress Inks in Evergreen Bough, Pine Needles and Mowed Lawn to create a faded background over the images. I stamped the gerbera again onto vellum and embossed, then shaded the reverse side using Spectrum Noir pens. The sentiment is also from the Pure Florals set stamped in Evergreen Bough Distress ink.

Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think! Cx

  1. WOW! This is absolutely stunning. I love how the Gerbera ‘pops’ from the card and you’ve used the challenge colours and theme perfectly. Thank you for joining in on the Uniko Studio Challenge 🙂 Hugs Bev x
