Today’s card is for The Muse Challenge, using this fab card by Jacquie Southas:
I was reminded of a stamp by Kanban which has intertwined stems. I wanted to incorporate the colour scheme and first off tried colouring in the image but I could not make it work at all, so then I switched to a silhouette image on blocks of colour. I used Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn and Salty Ocean to create the background then matted onto black cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and used detail white embossing powder to keep the image crisp. I would love to hear what you think, leave a comment below! Cx
