A new card challenge blog has started this week – The Time Out Challenge. The inspiration for the first challenge is the phrase “dancing in the rain”.
For my card I used my Silhouette to cut out the dancer from black card. I created a window card and added a sheet of acetate. I added glossy accents to this sheet to create the appearance of rain drops, added a black border and my dancer. The sentiment is embossed with white detail embossing powder.
The dancer and rain drops create shadows on the card base behind and this changes as the light changes, creating a sense of movement. My little figure really does appear to be dancing in the rain…
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think!
