A couple of cards for you today. I came across a new magazine today, ‘Get Stamping’, and thought I would treat myself as it came with some very useful stamps. I am unable to link to this at the moment as I cannot find it listed, but will update the blog as soon as possible. Here is my first attempt with the stamps:
I used Memento inks to stamp the main panel and chevrons behind, as well as to colour the matt panels to ensure a good colour match.
This next card is inspired by a technique used by Kristina Werner – I am totally in awe of her creativity and when I am running low on ideas her blog is the first place I check out.
The panel is made from thin strips cut from the Papermania Capsule Collection by Jesse Edwards. I cut a piece of card down to size, covered it in adhesive then added the strips of paper. This panel is popped up on foam squares on a background stamped with the Hero Arts Friends Definition stamp in Impress Ultramarine ink. The “Congratulations” sentiment is stamped on plain blue cardstock with Colorbox frost white pigment ink, with my own hand written addition.
Great cards! Very impressive!
