Hi there,
Today I have used a colour combination that is completely new to me, all inspired by the latest Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge – check out the inspiration photo below:
The card I created is super simple, I stamped the snowflakes first, trying to work around a central point, and then embossed the flourishes and the sentiment with silver embossing powder. A coordinating matting layer finishes off the card.
I would also like to enter this card into the AAA Card Challenge where the theme is Christmas.
Products used:
Stamps: Snowflake Sentiments (144820)
Inks: Marina Mist (126962); Lemon Lime Twist (144086): Versamark Ink (102283)
Cardstock: Whisper White (106549); Whisper White Thick (140490); Marina Mist (121682)
Extras: Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (109131)
If you would like to purchase any of the products used just click on the indivdual product links above or click here to be taken straight to my Stampin’ Up! store.
I loved making this card – it was a real challenge to use a colour combination that I am not used to. I think it turned out ok. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think!
