I have a quick card to share for the Uniko Studio Challenge where Bev is celebrating Uniko’s birthday. The challenge is to use the colours of the Uniko logo:
I fell in love with the gorgeous Beautiful Blooms III from Uniko’s latest release and had to treat myself. I stamped the main floral image using a blue pigment ink as I found that it layered up beautifully with no need to use other colours. After fussy cutting 3 of these flowers I overlaid them onto the background image which was stamped in Memento Rose Bud ink with some second generation stamping to add the shading. I have to be honest… I may not have cleaned the stamps properly to do this which led to a slight greyish tinge to the pink, but I kind of like the way it turned out. The sentiment is also a Uniko product which came with a free stamp set when I made a purchase (thank you Bev!). To finish the card I layered my card mat onto a strip of chevron design paper and added some sequins and beads.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog today, leave a comment and let me know what you think, Cx

What a gorgeous design, reminds me of those wonderful tiles from Morocco!
Totally ‘swooning’ over this design using the Beautiful Blooms III clear stamp set! Your use of the Uniko Challenge colours is fabulous too. Lovely to see you using your Uniko stamps and joining in on the Uniko Challenge. Sorry for my delay in commenting. Hugs Bev x
