Another quick post to enter a card into the Card Concept Challenge. I am using a new stamp set that I received in the post this morning – perfect timing for a lazy day crafting:

The challenge is to use a picture inspiration:

Using the colour and the white space as my basis I decided to use the Chameleon from the Create A Smile stamp set ‘Jungle Fever’. I shaded him with Spectrum Noir pens and once the ink had dried, I stippled over some areas with the blender pen and other shades of green to add texture to him. I fussy cut him and used foam dots to raise him up. I used the tongue stamp as both his tongue and the branch he is standing on. The sentiments and the little fly are from the same stamp set.
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think, Cx
Like this cute CAS card!
Cute card. Love how you improvised with the tongue for the branch. Also like how you changed up the skin tone with the blender pen.
This just had me smiling, Christine … it’s so fun! Love how you’ve added texture and dimension to the chameleon and made him such a star of the show! Anita 🙂
