My lovely Easter break is coming to an end – we have had a great weekend seeing friends and family and I have even managed to squeeze in a little crafting time (of course!).
The challenge over at Time Out this week is to create a birthday card with the optional twist of making a masculine card. Obviously this led to instant mental block but after looking through my stash I picked out the All Squared Up stamp set from Avery Elle – a fab set for creating backgrounds and geometric features.
The set up was pretty simple, I just stamped the square border a couple of times in Memento Tuxedo Black ink then used the Turquoise set from Spectrum Noir to shade the image. I think the graphic nature of the image is ideal for a masculine card.
Please leave a message and let me know what you think, Cx
Gorgeous and graphic, Christine … such a fabulous colour palette and yes, so perfect for a masculine card! Anita 🙂
I love it Christine, very CAS and perfect colouring, thanks for joining us again at TIME OUT we love to see your cards and also at ATCAS
This is a great idea for a masculine card, a great border design with ‘masculine’ colours.
What a great guy card. Love the modern feel and perfect colors. Thanks so much for playing with us at Time Out!
This is a great design, Christine, and one that would work for either sexes!! Hugs, Darnell
