This card is to be my first entry into the Muse Challenge Blog, inspired by the card below by Lisa Haines.
Three things struck me when I saw Lisa’s card; purple, polka dots and scallops, so I decided to incorporate these into my card.
I used Uniko Studio’s Background Builders: Round in Circles to create the polka dot background. Because I opted for a white background with purple dots I decided the card needed a pop of colour to lift it so added in the yellow.
I would love to hear what you think about my card!
HI Christine – I think you card is fabulous and I LOVE how you picked three elements to use as the inspiration for your!! I especially love the purple and am also a big fan of polka dots! Thanks so much for playing in the challenge and for creating such a wonderful card!!
PS: I also think your blog design is so pretty…the poppies are gorgeous and remind me of Summer, which I’m very much looking forward to after such a long, cold and snowy winter!!
This is so bright and vibrant, Christine … the yellow is a fantastic pop of colour against the purple … and I think I spy some shimmer … wonderful! Anita 🙂
Love the vibrant yellow in the purple – it makes me think of spring! Thanks for joining us at Muse this week!
