I was very excited to stumble across a new challenge blog, The Card Concept and was determined to give it a try. This week’s challenge was based on using the below colours:
I decided to make a clean and (possibly too) simple card and came up with this…
The image is from the Artemio Feathers stamp set. I stamped it in Memento Rich Cocoa onto cream card stock, then shaded with Distress Inks in Tattered Rose and Victorian Velvet. I added some perfect pearls – you can’t see in the photo but it has a lovely shimmer.

Be still my rapidly beating heart! This is Clean & Simple defined! Stunning simplicity, perfectly balanced design (love where you placed the sentiment), trendy products (feathers are sooooo in!), gorgeous coloring, impecable border (that I think is hand drawn). Absolute perfection!
