Another challenge on the Avery Elle blog has caught my eye – this time a picture inspiration.

I love the bright candy  colours of this image and used this as a basis for my entry this month:

I used the Avery Elle All Squared Up stamp set to create the geometric design and coloured this in using pencils.  I then masked this and used distress inks in Evergreen Bough and Broken China to create the background colour.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set, stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink.
