My husband and I were invited to a wedding this weekend and I left it until the last minute to make the card! I didn’t have anything specific in mind but I had an idea of the colours I wanted to use and it came together quite quickly. I wish I had planned it though – some ribbon in the right colour would have finished it off perfectly.
The background stamp is by Anna Griffin from a set I have had in my stash for a long time which is woefully underused – her stamps are exquisite and ideal for a card like this. I stamped the image in Versamark and embossed with detail white powder, then distressed over the top using Tattered Rose Distress Ink. I made the coloured strip using Bundled Sage Distress Ink then stamped the sentiment using Encore silver ink.
